This is simply me reading stuff. "Stuff" being poems and literature and essays and letters. And I'm also talking and praising and laughing and almost crying and hating and living and dying and loving and some other stuff. I try to keep this under 10 minutes because I have a deep fear of boring people.

Look. If you’re looking to peer into the crevices of poetry——learn its lurid or livid details, its putrid and pretty particularities of craft and draft and afterthought, its compendium of facets——this is not the podcast for you. This is the podcast for those who Adore poetry. This is where you come to smile. Come to relax without your laces so tightly wound. Come to eat Fritos even though you pretend to your friends that you can’t stand them. Come feel uncannily home. Son of god and ice cream cones, I enjoy this podcast. It’s like a blog, but it’s like a phonecall, but it’s like having a type- writer, but it’s like being a mirror in a locked ward, but it’s like playing with shambolic cats.

P friggen S!
Do you know very little about poetry and wish you knew more? Listen!
Do you know so very much about poetry and wish you didn’t? Listen!
This space is so low-pressure that clouds pile into it. Holy dahlias, I say. Come! Come hydrated! Robyn’s either ninety or nineteen and that’s a pretty starry thing.

...Menil talk [être] remarkable! Keep killing off the men, or not killing them off, you kind, magnetic genius.

Wonderful poetry and good snacks

Robyn introduces us to (and remind us of) wonderful writers. I’ve taken out numerous books from the library after hearing Robyn read a snippet here. And - her interview on Modern Art Notes Podcast is awesome and I highly recommend it to learn more about her work.

And, her snack recommendations are perfect. Kombucha and potato chips. 100%
