MicroConf Refresh Episode 11: Prescriptions and Descriptions: Blindspots of the Developer Entrepreneur - Ben Orenstein

Ben has a theory: Developers who create digital products or SaaS apps tend to screw up in predictable ways. They are particularly likely to under-invest in marketing and sales, and will tend to over-automate. Worst of all, they almost always charge too little. After years of making these mistakes himself, Ben will share some hard-won tips for avoiding them. (Sorry in advance, but the answer is rarely "write more code.")

We're starting to grow quickly. "
If you go to SegMetrics.io, you can see their H1.  In essence, SegMetrics is a tool that helps you get 100% clarity on where your leads come from, how they behave and how much your marketing is really worth.  It allows you to get a handle on the KPIs that matter most for your marketing funnels is built by marketers for marketers.

    microconfonair.com
This week, we've invited Sumit Kumar (@TweetsOfSumit), Founder of Geoman.io - a B2C product that allows users to draw and edit geodata with our intuitive and powerful leaflet plugins and Tresor.one, an automated portfolio management tool.
This poses the question - what does it take to build and support two businesses as an indie funded SaaS founder? And what can you expect from working with two very different audiences in a B2B and a B2C space.
