    Food Allergies at Disney

    Food Allergies at Disney

Food allergies can be fatal, so being able to travel to the Disney (and Universal) parks and safely eat is a major concern for families with food allergies.  This reality is known all too well for Colby, who has allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, and peas.
This week Colby sits down with his dad, Darrell, and mom, Kari, talk about how they discovered Colby had severe food allergies, and what their food experience has been over the last 16 years.  The first half of the episode serves as an educational breakdown of food allergies so those who have never experienced it, might better understand the importance of being aware of food allergies.
In the second half of the episode, the family shares their experiences at Disneyland, California Adventure, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Studios Orlando.  In short, their first experience at Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood was excellent and proved that both parks care deeply about their guests, and have trained their staff well to make sure guests are safe.  Subsequent visits to the park have proven the first experiences were not a fluke.

    Marvel Cinematic Universe: RANKED

    Marvel Cinematic Universe: RANKED

Okay, yes, so MAYBE Blake and JJ are doing another bracket battle. They swear, this’ll be the last one from them for a while. However, in this week’s episode, they’re tackling a bracket battle of all of the MCU projects (movies and shows), breaking them all down to find their favorite MCU movie/show. After talking about what they have done recently, which heavily involve the parks, they get into breaking down the massive bracket of 27 MCU projects, which they tackle two at a time, talking quickly (or not so quickly) about what they find more appealing in both items, and choose one to move along in the bracket. You know, like in a bracket battle. You probably know how the rest goes. You wanna try out the bracket yourself? Download your bracket here!
Want to get angry at us for our Marvel movie opinions? What did your bracket end up looking like? Connect with us at Mouse House Weekly, we’d love to discuss with you!

Empire hits 40 years

Just finished. Colby, you have a future in broadcasting/media or whatever you choose to do. Your input is effortless for someone so young. Darrell and Bradley you guys were just as great as you always are. That being said, I think as a member of the generation of children who saw A New Hope in its original run and the same for Empire and Jedi, I have a different perspective. I never ever touched an action figure from this franchise or have spent more than 5 min playing a Star Wars themed video game. I appreciate everyone’s connection to the series, but if I played the game that Darrell suggested and there was only the first movie released, I would be completely ok with that. Yoda’s dialogue and story arc are essential to Empire and Jedi, but his muppet movements and Frank Oz’s voice were too cartoonish for me even as
15 year old. I still love the movie and love the Yoda character, but I wish would have just cast a little-person in the role and made him more believable. And Bradley, I was at least one of the people who told you I thought CGI Yoda warrior was ridiculous. My soft rant here isn’t meant to make me out to be one of the rabid Star Wars hater-fans, because honestly, after listening to you guys I kind want to re-watch all
The films again. And related to that, I believe it was Topher Grace who did the 9 film re-edit. Lastly, my
biggest gripe about Star Wars is I feel like they sold out to Disney. I personally have zero interest in getting a Disney subscription, but that evidently is the only way I will get to ever see the last film. Not sure what
I’ll do. As Coby ended, “May the force be with you.”
