#Ep 6: What the fitness coaching industry is missing

In this solo episode, Ashleigh talks about some of the key elements largely missing from the strength and fitness coaching industry, especially regarding coaching women - the biggest challenge being the lack of women's focused research, study, and resources to better inform coaches programming and support. The industry as a whole needs more resources, formal scientific study, and compassionate listening in order to best understand, support, and guide our clients to their reaching their goals and finding their healthiest selves.
Ashleigh also briefly discusses her new coaching resource, the Strength Training for Women Specialist Certification offered through the Primal Health Coach Institute, designed for all coaches who work with female clients. Was a turn off to me when suggested in an episode.

New fan

I heard you first on Old Fashioned on Purpose, and I have loved your podcast. Your birthing experience was very very similar to mine, so that was fun to hear someone else tell a story that sounded just like mine.
I’d LOVE to hear some episodes about how you are feeding your child. I have three kiddos now and forth in the way, and this is a challenge that I can’t seem to conquer yet. We live in a tough S.A.D. culture, and navigating that with kids feels particularly tough for me. I’d love to see how you are doing with that.
Thank you for all you are doing, I am anxiously awaiting your first cookbook to arrive in the mail.
