Most Entertaining Radio Talk Host from 1976-2009
First discovered Neil in March of 1979 when he was on WNWS when I was on a month long Vacation to visit My Sisters, Mom, and my 7 month old half Brother James. He was the by far the most entertaining Talk Host on that station or any Talk host in any radio station in New York. Starting in 1989 he took notice of my phone calls because Roger Magolin used to tell him I wrote some of the entertainment reports and wrote jokes that Mike Ranieri would use. Neil would often comment on my conversations with Jim Mandich Rick and Suds and especially on when I would call Randi Rhodes or Phil Hendrie. Rest In Peace Neil.
Gracias

Neil Is The Greatest
I grew up with Neil on WIOD ... listened to him until I had to move out of Miami ... he’s on my Mount Rushmore of talk hosts ... Neil, Stan Majors, Grumpy Chunk and Phil Hendrie. The best!
