In one notable exchange with Justice Department Counsel Michael Dreeben, Justice Brett Kavanaugh asked if, hypothetically, former President Barack Obama could be prosecuted for his administration’s use of drone strikes against U.S. citizens in foreign countries. 3:40pm- Robert Bork Jr.—President of the Antitrust Education Project & President of the Bork Communication Group—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to breakdown what he heard during oral argument in the Supreme Court case Trump v. United States: “Although Mr. Trump’s claim of near-absolute immunity was seen as a long shot intended primarily to slow the proceedings, several members of the Republican-appointed majority seemed to indicate that some immunity was needed… Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. criticized an appeals court ruling rejecting immunity for Mr. Trump, saying he was concerned that it ‘did not get into a focused consideration of what acts we are talking about or what documents are talking about.’” You can read their full takeaway here: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/04/25/us/trump-immunity-supreme-court/supreme-court-trump-immunity-takeaways?smid=url-share

And, if so, wouldn’t that quickly become a threat to the maintenance of a stable democracy?

5:05pm- On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in Trump v. United States—a case which will determine the extent of presidential immunity. At one point, Justice Samuel Alito questioned whether former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt could have been, hypothetically, prosecuted for his decision to intern Japanese-American citizens—depriving them of their inherent, constitutionally protected rights—during World War II. In another notable moment, Justice Brett Kavanaugh asked Justice Department Counsel Michael Dreeben if former President Barack Obama could be prosecuted for his administration’s use of drone strikes against U.S. citizens in foreign countries.

Biden’s DOJ Determined to Regulate Political Speech Online

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (04/24/2024):

3:05pm- On Wednesday, President Joe Biden signed a foreign aid package totaling $95.3 billion—with $60.8 billion earmarked specifically for Ukraine. The bill had passed in the House of Representatives on Saturday before being passed in the Senate with a vote of 79 to 18 Tuesday evening. The aid package also includes a measure that would force Chinese company ByteDance to sell its popular social media platform TikTok, within 6 months, to an American-based company—citing a current threat to national security. Refusal to sell TikTok would result in the app being banned in the United States.

3:30pm- James Lynch of National Review writes: “Former Biden administration disinformation head Nina Jankowicz has launched a new organization to fight against conservative efforts to combat online censorship. Jankowicz launched the American Sunlight Project this week to fight what she believes to be a campaign by conservatives to undermine the anti-disinformation industry.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/former-biden-disinformation-czar-launches-group-to-defend-online-censorship/

3:40pm- While speaking to the press after President Joe Biden signed a $95.3 billion foreign aid package, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blamed Tucker Carlson for delaying the bill’s passage—citing the former Fox News host’s vocal opposition to Ukraine aid, which caused a group of Republican members of Congress to combat the bill.

4:05pm- On Wednesday, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson spoke from Columbia University as anti-Israel protests continue to rage at several college campuses. Over the weekend, a Jewish student journalist at Yale University was stabbed in the eye with a Palestinian flag, sending her to the hospital. Meanwhile, demonstrations at Columbia have become so vitriolic that the school has decided to move classes from in-person to an online format for the remainder of the semester—citing a fear for the safety of Jewish students. In audio dating back to 2001, shortly after the terror attacks on September 11th, current Columbia University President Minouche Shafik can be heard outlandishly calling terrorism “a form of protesting.” During his speech, Speaker Johnson called on Shafik to resign immediately.

4:30pm- Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) accused Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Republicans of surrendering on border security legislation by not including it in the $95.3 billion foreign aid bill, which President Joe Biden signed into law on Wednesday.

4:50pm- Who has the greatest mustache of all-time? Burt Reynolds? Tom Selleck? Albert Einstein? Rich, Matt, and Henry debate!

5:00pm- Congressman Jeff Van Drew— United States Representative for New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his vote against the $95.3 billion foreign aid package which was signed by President Joe Biden on Wednesday. Congressman Van Drew explains that his “no” vote was not because he doesn’t support Ukraine, but because he believes there needs to be greater transparency with where exactly the money is going. He also insists the package should have included border security measures. Plus, Congressman Van Drew previews Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s upcoming rally in Wildwood, NJ on May 11th.

5:15pm- On X, women’s college basketball star Angel Reese posted on X, “protect young women in sports!!!” Reese won a national championship while playing at LSU and was recently drafted seventh overall in the WNBA draft.

5:20pm- In a New York Times editorial, Boston University law professor Jed Handelsman Shugerman writes of the ongoing “hush money” trial involving Donald Trump: “After listening to Monday’s opening statement by prosecutors, I still think the Manhattan D.A. [Alvin Bragg] has made a historic mistake. Their vague allegation about “a criminal scheme to corrupt the

The Best Philly Area Radio Show!!

I’m a young conservative in my 20’s and found it a bit difficult to find an outlet and like-minded people after graduating college and moving back to the area. I was recommended to listen to Zeoli’s show by a family member last year and loved it, he represents us northeastern Americans so accurately and is hilarious! He also started hosting live shows in Cape May NJ, i’ve been to two so far, and they are SO FUN. The second one I went to in Oct 2022 it was my birthday, and Rich had everyone sing and busted my chops a bit on-air, and gave us free drinks. Gotta love the italians! We just recently went to a phillies game that the show hosted and it was also a great time and great opportunity to meet other conservatives in the area, including young conservatives. We decided to make it a tradition to go to a Cape May show every year. Thanks Rich!
