Oakland is a city of survivors, and every AA has survived utter hopelessness. The speakers here are specifically selected because their story carries the hope we are all gifted when we come in these rooms. I regularly attend this meeting, in person, and the main room at Rockridge Fellowship is a magical oasis amidst the sometimes gritty and chaotic energy of our beautiful Town. That magic and warmth can be felt in these “tapes,”so embrace the audio quality as ambiance. They are a welcome reprieve on road trips, while cleaning house (😉), or anytime you feel like you’d benefit from a meeting, but are unable to get to one right away. “How free do you wanna be?!” WE never do this alone, so… LET’s do this!!
