    #47 Project Stargate: Psychic Spies, Cold War Panic, and Why It Ended

    For more than twenty years, the United States government funded a classified program that attempted to use psychic abilities for intelligence gathering. It was called Project Stargate. Beginning in the early 1970s at the height of the Cold War, the CIA and U.S. Army quietly invested millions of dollars into researching remote viewing. It was classified as a Special Access Program. And it was briefed to Congress twice a year. The goal was simple in theory. Determine whether consciousness could access information across time and space. If it could, weaponize it. From the Soviet psychic arms race panic of the 1970s to the operational claims of locating downed aircraft and describing secret submarines. We break down the structure of remote viewing, the concept of the Matrix, ideograms, Analytical Overlay, and the six stage training protocol developed at Stanford Research Institute. Then we examine the most controversial session in the entire archive. The May 22, 1984 Mars remote viewing transcript.
