Mike in WPB ,

Antonio Brown punishment

As usual, lawyer Mikedoesn’t let all the facts get in the way of a dumb argument. Lawyer Mike wants Brown’s 14 games missed from 2019 season applied to future penalties because Brown missed 14 games without pay in 2019. Lawyer Mike fails to recognize that Brown has pending arbitration cases against both Raiders and Patriots for monies not paid in 2019. Pats had big cap hits in 2019 and 2020 relating to these unpaid monies. If Brown forfeited his arbitration rights, I might agree with lawyer Mike. But, wouldn’t NFL look stupid if it followed lawyer Mike’s advice and Brown won his arbitration cases. This would just give lawyer Mike another show to tell us how dumb the NFL was for not wanting until arbitration cases were heard before assessing penalties.

Mike Florio has become a clickbait social commentariat regarding football. He was always a scold, but now his ego has convinced him that his opinion actually matters. Nothing of football on the field substance is discussed anymore. I’m out.
