So he does well thought out popularizing of what can be extremely dense philosophy. Lots of value here. He introduced me to Wittgenstein who is now like my philosophical true love. But I find that he is often pretty dismissive of and strawmans religion (particularly Christianity because that’s what I’m familiar with). It’s not as bad as a lot of atheist/agnostics, and he doesn’t talk about it too much, but when he talked about St Augustine for example I really just found myself rolling my eyes most of the time. When he sticks to philosophy though, West is excellent.

Excellent content and an amazing host. Sometimes as Stephen speaks, I close my eyes and feel as if I’m in a philosophy class with this passionate professor opening new world of knowledge to me. My search for a philosophy podcast ends here. Thanks Stephen for making philosophy this accessible and enjoyable without using any gimmicks or frills.
