    Let’s Get Wild

The Phillies are going to the Playoffs! A Johan Rojas tenth inning single up the middle propelled the Phillies to a walkoff 3-2 win to clinch their spot in the playoffs. As the team celebrated in the locker room, the division rival Braves did 'em a solid and wrapped up home field advantage in the first round too as they downed the Cubs. Let’s Ring the Bell as we enjoy the wild card and await OCTOBER BASEBALL AT CITIZENS BANK PARK just six days away.

    The Magic Number is ONE

    The Magic Number is ONE

The Phillies ripped of a 4-game sweep of the spiraling Mets over the weekend, pounding out clutch hit after clutch hit against their rivals from Queens, eliminating the Metropolitans from the playoffs and helping then on their way to an historic collapse of what was a 100 win team just a year ago. But we’re gonna have to leave our old pals behind in the regular season as the magic number for the Phils to clinch the top wild card spot and home field in the opening round is down to ONE. So let’s Ring the Bell for a weekend sweep and a chase to wrap it all up in Pittsburgh this evening.

    An Atomic Schwarbomb

    An Atomic Schwarbomb

The Phillies absolutely took it to the Braves on Monday slugging 5 home runs including mammoth blast by Kyle Schwarber that literally left the stadium.. The Braves paid the favor right back on Tuesday with two Ronald Acuna Jr. homers and a 9-3 drubbing, loss 11256 of all time. Hey, they don’t hand out MVP awards to just anyone. Anyway lets Ring the Bell ahead of a Wednesday rubber match with the NL East champion Braves.

    Dancing On My Mound

    Dancing On My Mound

Wednesday was grim day in Philadelphia. The Phils really just didn't have it, mustering just single run on offense as they fell to the Braves who emphatically clinched the NL East against the team that knocked em out of the playoffs 11 months ago. The boos rained down as the Braves danced all over the Phillies mound in jubilation and while we’ll tip our cap to the division champs and sound the sad trombone today, we’ll remain hopeful that perhaps, just like last season, a different team will be dancing on the mound come October.

    Phils can't touch Strider
    Brave clinch NL East
