I’m so sick of callers taking over

Darrell from Georgia is unbearable. Obviously, when you’re doing a show about professional sports (even WWE), you’re going to get dumb callers. Half the time it’s entertaining. But PWTorch is a brand that takes itself immensely seriously. It’s hard hitting journalism about the sport/entertainment side of the business.

This is why I thank whatever entity that created this universe that Wade’s new format is practically caller free. To hear an intelligent journalist be forced to try to have conversation with callers (who 70% of the time are illiterate dunderheads) is brutal. I’d take a much shorter show than one that’s long where callers run the asylum.

Greg Parks seems like a nice guy. He clearly knows when these callers are speaking too long, but he never cuts them off. I know he doesn’t always have a co host, but to let a caller talk for a half hour on end, making points that are better suited for a Reddit forum forces me to skip significant parts of the show. Greg needs to give these people 2-5 minutes of conversation, and allow them get to their point, and then call it and move on.

If I want dumb callers with horrible audio, I’d listen to daytime sports radio. Yes, this isn’t entirely in Gregg’s control, but this program is just not listenable in its current format. Stop giving callers a chance to have their own podcast. They can buy a mic, open a BlogTalkRadio, and do it quite easily. They are disrespecting the show and listeners by being so self indulgent.

Thumbs down! They have bashed Impact to the point it’s unlistenable. Impact is a great product with great talent and great creative staff and plenty of money and they don’t half hazardly spend it like Tony Khan and The soon to fail AEW. I could care less about MLW & AEW. Maybe they need to do more homework about business financing.

Bad audio.

This podcast has the worst audio app ever heard. It’s almost as if they try to record this podcast over a telephone line. No I think they may have tried to record this podcast over string tied to 2 tin cans.
