    The Punch Stops Here

Clinkers, we know it's been a while but we are finally back for one more -- and one final -- episode. Yes, it's true, after almost 7 years, we have decided it is now time to bring Punch Drunk TV to an end. This is Aaron typing, in case you didn't know. I started this show, back when it was first called Best Frienemies, and then revamped to the GeekNation show Pass the Effin Remote, for the simple reason that I wanted to hang out with Jack. I knew we had good chemistry, I was always entertained when we hung out, and a light bulb went off that we should do some type of show. Now, here we are. Doing this show helped us make new friends, brought our voices into households across the world, opened up doors to new job opportunities, and solidified my friendship with this dude I first met at a goth club over 20 years ago. This may be the end to Punch Drunk TV, but we are not going anywhere. Jack and I are currently working out an idea for a new show, so please keep in touch with us on Facebook and Twitter. We will announce something in the coming months. In the meantime, please clink the drink with us one final time. NEWS HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: The "Game of Thrones" finale set a record for HBO with 19.3 million viewers tuning in. The final season of "Orange is the New Black" will premiere on Friday, July 26. There's a rumor many outlets are reporting on that says "The Muppets" will be coming getting a new series on Disney+. From Weird City, With Love

We're back after a week hiatus and, while Jack and I are both exhausted, we've still found time to drink and yell about TV -- for your aural pleasure, of course. It's also the end of this year's Winter Television Critics Association press tour and I may have hung out with the "American Gods" cast ... and I may have told Emily Browning that Jack requested I throw her in a sack. And it may have made things a bit awkward. You'll just have to listen to find out! NEWS HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: Hulu has ordered four new Marvel adult animated series and a standalone special. "Marvel's M.O.D.O.K.," "Marvel's Hit-Monkey," "Marvel's Tigra & Dazzler Show" and "Marvel's Howard the Duck". The 6-episode series will premiere on May 31. Aldus Huxley's "Brave New World" has been ordered as a 10-episode series at USA. The working title for SYFY's Child's Play series is "Chucky" and Brad Dourif will return to voice the doll. "Desus & Mero" premieres on Showtime on February 21. Ted Bundy, Carmen Sandiego and The Black Dahlia ... Oh My!

This week, we're faced with a bunch of horror reboots for the small-screen which could be good or bad news, depending on how you look at it. We also touch on those big TV winners from this past weekend's SAG Awards -- and you'll never guess who won Best Stunt Ensemble. Jack's wife, JoEllen, wants to know ... have you accomplished any of your New Year's Resolutions? Or are you like Aaron and prefer to make goals, instead? NEWS HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: A "Resident Evil" TV series, from the same people behind the movies, is in the works at Netflix.  Nick Antosca is developing a "Child's Play" TV series with original movie creator Don Mancini at SYFY. CBS All Access has ordered a 10-episode mini-series remake of "The Stand."  Season 2 of "Killing Eve" will air on both BBC America and AMC to broaden its reach. "Rent Live" was Fox's lowest-rated musical. Only 3.42 million people tuned in during the three-hour long event -- which definitely wasn't "live." AARON'S LOSERS: "The Punisher" and "Rent: Live" AARON'S FENCERS: "Black Monday," "Future Man," "Friends From College" and "The Ted Bundy Tapes" JACK'S FENCERS: "Conan" and "The Umbrella Academy" AARON'S WINNERS: "Carmen Sandiego," "The Passage" and "I Am the Night" JACK'S WINNERS: "The Good Place," "Deadly Class," "Broad City," "The Other Two," "Carmen Sandiego" and "Hot Ones" (w/ guest Gordon Ramsay)     Be sure to subscribe on iTunes and comment!
