    Robert Johnson is a retired NYPD Detective Lieutenant, author, and lifelong protector. He began his career as a nightclub bouncer in New York City during the 1980s and early 1990s before joining the NYPD in 1992, where he rose through the ranks to Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant.
