It’s good
A Personal Favorite
I absolutely love these guys. Been listening for about a decade now, though I did go through the back catalogue when I first strted, so I've heard it all. The finest Nintneno podcast there was/is throughout all of all of it's many incarnations. He's self depricating about it, but James runs a great show. Thanks for the good times, man.

2023: I still love the show, there’s something raw and pure about it. Not worried about trends it’s nice to hear about past games too. My main complaint is the show is now too long for my regular rotation. If it was an hour or an hour and a half I could keep up but I stopped listening when there were so many near 3 hour podcasts. Same reason I stopped listening to Rohan years ago. Still love the hosts I just can’t keep up with the show. All the episodes are on my backlog but I occasionally put an episode on before bed to help me sleep.
2020 Review Update: I’m 31 now. I was in my mid 20s when I first reviewed the show (below). My thoughts in 2020 aren’t much different than a nearly a decade ago. I still love this podcast. Love the laid back light hearted and funny conversations. I like that they incorporate new game talk while often covering retro games seems easily. It’s refreshing to hear retro game discussions mixed in with the new especially when there is no particular reason to discuss the retro games and it’s often just guys who like games talking about games they love and sometimes comically hate. Keep it up guys! Older Review from 3DS Era Below: I have been listening to this Podcast for about 6 months or so now and I look forward to the new episodes every week. For starters the staff all have recognizable and distinguished voices so its easy to develop a sense of the character behind the voice. Their weekly discussions are relevant including fresh detailed information about new releases and juicy news bits, but the team also does an excellent job of recalling games of the past as well as including underdog titles. For example, I was pleasantly surprised to hear a brief and honest discussion of ATV Wild Ride 3D. They also take questions through listener email which gives listeners an opportunity to be heard. Since I am in my mid 20s and do not have many "gamer friends" its nice to hear what an adult audience has to say about these games and feel like I can still be involved in the ongoing dialogue that is gaming culture. This podcast is a true joy to listen to every week, and I thank all the people who put their time and effort into making this show so wonderful101. Thanks!
