End the gravy train, terms limits will enact themselves

Most first time politicians have big dreams of fixing problems. Their clear eyed view from inside the system dashes those hopes and the inspiration to do good is dowsed by the mediocrities so prevalent in local politics. The gravy train becomes the motivater to stay. End the gravy train and the effect will be the same as term limits. People who become talented problem solvers in government are the exception, not the rule. Higher turn over of mediocrities doesn’t promtoe more effective governance. In fact, longer time in office allows people to get to know each other and build relationships, the brick and mortar of coalitions. Also called the people’s choice.

I love the RCP!

I love the website, and I love the show.
Obviously Carl and Tom don’t like each other, I don’t know how they run RCP together. Otherwise love the show.
