EP 95 - Happy Valley Dream Survey Mystery
In early 2020, a reddit post surrounding a strange and mysterious flier, would spark an online mystery that led many internet sleuths down a winding rabbit hole. Dubbed the Happy Valley Dream Survey, this mystery involved odd IRL postings, asking people to email or call in, providing summaries of recent bizarre dreams they may have been having.
Originally, some users thought this to just be relating to the current lockdowns. But as some dove deeper and braved calling the number, only more questions arose. Some began receiving strange text responses after leaving their message; and as some of the users spearheading the investigation suddenly deleted their online presence, people began to warn others not to look in further..

In Depth Researched on the Unexplainable World
Shane does fantastic richly in depth research into the world of the unknown! His relaxing radio voice is an added bonus as I love to listen to his show in the evening! Realm of the Unknown is a must listen!
Devout Christian; Love The Podcast!
I really enjoy this podcast, love the topics and enjoy listening to Shane’s thoughts on the strange and unusual!
I was, however, quite taken a back and surprised by the attack on Christians in a recent episode. It was quite personal and directed at anyone of the faith, not just at individuals who make terrible choices that are the complete opposite of what a Christian is. And because these hateful people call themselves “Christian’s” I’m more offended by their behavior than a non-believer would be. The misrepresentation is appalling. And sadly, those are the loudest ones who make a big heinous scene - but they are BY FAR the minority. And Catholicism is not a comparison. They call themselves a type of Christianity, but there are VERY big differences between the faiths, and these differences are quite defining. I don’t agree with 90% of Catholicism. It doesn’t feel very good to be mislabeled as a terrible person because of my faith - especially when my faith is all about love and compassion…. So I won’t lie, I was really hurt by what was said.
But I’m still a fan of you and your podcast. I’m not going to give you 1 star and blast you with a negative review. I realize that to have such an opinion on an entire faith as you do, some hurtful experiences must have happened in your life, and that breaks my heart, as Christianity should have the complete opposite effect on a persons life. Hopefully you can someday realize that those are not the behaviors of a TRUE Christian - not in the slightest, it’s in fact the opposite. They hold up signs that say they love Jesus, it makes me sick. It’s a mockery to the faith. They know absolutely nothing about Christian values.
So please, please do not judge all of us for the abhorrent behavior of the loud minority.

Spooky Themes, Perfect for the Halloween Mood!
I’m a huge horror fan and I get a lot of enjoyment out of this show. Growing up I had books on cryptids and weird happenings so I always get really excited when Halloween comes around.
I recently discovered this show and I love the settings of the events and how the host describes the surroundings of these places in-depth.
I would definitely recommend this to my spooky-minded friends!
