When You’ve Prayed, Believed, and Nothing Changed…With Brenna Blain

What do you do when you’ve prayed, believed… and nothing changes? When the healing doesn’t come, and the pain doesn’t go away? When God feels silent in the place you need Him most. In this conversation, we sit down with Brenna Blain, a contemporary theologian, best-selling author, and teacher, to talk about the kind of suffering that doesn’t make sense—and the kind of faith that has to be rebuilt in the middle of it. Brenna vulnerably shares her story of abuse, depression, same-sex attraction, and wrestling with a God who didn’t show up the way she thought He would. We talk about the tension so many of us carry but don’t always say out loud: How do you trust God when He doesn’t fix it? What does it look like to follow Jesus when your reality doesn’t match what you’ve been taught in church? And is it possible that God’s presence in our pain matters more than the outcome we’re praying for? This episode isn’t about easy answers. It’s about honest faith, wrestling with God, and learning how to invite Him into the places we’d rather hide. From Shock to Support: Inviting Our Parents Into Our Recovery Story

What do you do when you're finally ready to tell the people you love most about betrayal in your marriage? In this deeply personal episode, we invite Clinton’s parents, Greg and Cathy Muñoz, to recount the night they first learned about his sexual addiction and the devastating impact it had on our marriage. From the shock of hearing their son confess infidelity, to the helplessness of watching their daughter-in-law sit in trauma and grief, Greg and Cathy share honestly about what that moment felt like—fear, confusion, shame, sadness, and the overwhelming question: How do we respond? They also reflect on what helped them most: choosing silence over quick fixes, offering practical support like childcare, and educating themselves on betrayal trauma and sexual addiction recovery. For Greg, that night became a personal turning point—confronting his own hidden struggles and beginning his own journey of recovery. This conversation isn’t just our family’s story—it’s a roadmap for parents and in-laws who feel lost in the wake of betrayal. If you’ve wondered how to support your children without causing more harm, how to walk with both the betrayed and the unfaithful spouse, or how to move from shock to compassion, this episode offers hope and tangible steps forward. Surrendered Sexuality, Postmodern Lies, and the Road Back to Trusting God with Dr. Juli Slattery

Why do our sexual struggles create more shame than other sins we struggle with? Why do so many of us feel lost and unfixable as we strive for freedom? And what if healing doesn't begin with fixing what's broken- but surrendering to the One who can? In this episode, we sit down with Dr. Juli Slattery to talk about her latest book, Surrendered Sexuality: How Knowing Jesus Changes Everything. In this conversation, we discuss how more rules or pressure flat out don't work and will never create the transformation we truly desire. Juli breaks down the mindset shift between purity and integrity, why sexual sin feels heavier than other sins, and how postmodern culture has deeply shaped the way we think about sex, marriage, and identity—even in the church. We also dig into the root of why so many of us resist God and how it prevents us from healing. Juli shares how knowing Jesus personally—not just theologically—becomes the turning point for so many who feel stuck, disillusioned, or ashamed. If you've ever wondered where God was in your pain… if you've tried to "do better" but keep falling back… if you want real intimacy with God but feel a gap—you’re not alone. This conversation is raw, honest, and full of hope. We pray it invites you to stop managing your pain and start surrendering it—to the only One who can truly heal it. Thanks for Listening! Battling Temptations of Revenge and Leaving After Being Betrayed

In this episode, we're sharing some big life and ministry updates—and opening up a conversation we've never had publicly before: battling temptation in the middle of betrayal trauma. Charity vulnerably shares the raw and often unspoken temptations she faced—from thoughts of leaving to revenge fantasies—and how the enemy whispered lies that felt hard not to believe. But as she pressed into healing and drew closer to Jesus, those lies began to lose their grip. We talk about the power of surrender, the weight of pride, and how "finishing the fantasy" can reveal the destruction that sin promises but never delivers. Many wives don't realize how normal it is to face intense spiritual battles during the healing and transformation process. Our hope is that this episode reminds you that you're not alone in your pain, your thoughts, or the process. Jesus sees it all, and He's not intimidated by your struggle—He's with you in it.  We also share a few exciting ministry updates: A major breakthrough in workbook publishing that could bring Course 1 to couples by this fallA brand new 6-week personalized couples coaching opportunityA chance to partner with us and help fund the final phase of this course launch Thanks for Listening! "Was Any of It Even Real?" The Power and Damage of Compartmentalization

Have you ever wondered how living a double life is even possible? In today’s episode, we’re diving into a topic that comes up all the time in our coaching, course sessions, and personal conversations—compartmentalization. This concept, when misunderstood, creates so much confusion and disconnection in relationships. For many betrayed spouses, understanding it begins to bring clarity to the chaos. For many husbands, it’s a lightbulb moment—finally seeing how addiction was hidden, justified, and separated from the rest of life. We unpack what compartmentalization looked like in our own story—how I (Clint) could act out and still try to show up as a “present” spouse, while Charity was left wondering, “Was any of our past connection even real?” We also share the metaphor that helped us finally make sense of it all—why it was so damaging, and how true healing began when I stopped living in separate “drawers” and started integrating every part of my life under God’s design for authenticity and intimacy. If you’ve ever felt confused, disconnected, or wondered how someone could live a double life, we pray this conversation brings clarity and encouragement. There’s hope on the other side of compartmentalization—and freedom in being fully known and fully loved.  Resources: https://www.instagram.com/restored2more/  https://restored2more.com/donate/  Ask us anything Thanks for Listening!
