    CONFERENCE CHAMPS! Women's Tennis Head Coach Elizabeth Schmidt & Divna Ratkovic

    CONFERENCE CHAMPION Women's Tennis Head Coach Elizabeth Schmidt joins Voice of the Owls J.P. Heath. They discuss her Owls winning their first American Conference championship at the George R. Brown Tennis Center. Coach discusses the resilience of her team, the unique night of her star player the night before, and the "fight for every inch" motto of the team. She also discusses the homecourt advantage of the George R. Brown Tennis Center, the depth of the roster, her staff and some keys for the NCAA Tournament. American Conference Most Outstanding Player Divna Ratkovic (19:15) gives an update on how she's feeling after a 24-hour period of sickness, a scooter accident, and conference championship. She recaps the key points in the winning match and a celebratory team dinner and the campus celebration. After talking about her balancing of academics and tennis, she delivers an inspiring message of toughness before talking about winning Scholar Athlete of the Year, and what she does off the court.
