Recently, science and its practitioners have been growing more ostracized from the general North American public, both due to politics and elitism. In this episode, Arjun and Spencer set out to dissect this issue in an attempt to understand the role of science in informing reality. With a focus on the practice as a process over a product, it emerges as a tool for creating plausible theories, emphasizing its place not as the arbiter of ultimate truth, but as a self-correcting method continually open to challenge.
