RODERICK SEWELL ON MAKING HISTORY AS A DOUBLE AMPUTEE PARALYMPIC ATHLETE.
Roderick Sewell is a paralympic athlete and multiple gold and bronze medalist who represented team USA at the 2014 and 15 pan pacific para-swimming championships and 2015 CanAm para swimming championship. Roderick recently made history as the first ever above the knee amputee to complete the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Listen as he gives insight on growing up as a bilateral amputee in sports.

Jana is a first grade special education teacher who was a high school and collegiate level athlete in cross country and track for Scarsdale High school and Fordham University. She is an awesome runner, who currently runs with the Prospect Park Track Club and also serves as a member on their social committee and director on their board. She brings her father, Mike Trenk, on the episode to discuss how he inspired her love for running and their shared goal of chasing a sub three hour marathon.
