Christ Alone (Galatians)
In this episode, the hosts discuss Galatians 5:2-3, where Paul warns the Galatians not to accept circumcision as a requirement for salvation. They explain the difference between Timothy and Titus, who were Paul's companions in his missionary journeys, and how Paul dealt with the issue of circumcision in different contexts. They also talk about how we can fall into the same trap of adding to the gospel today, by making certain practices, beliefs, or preferences a test of true faith. They emphasize that Christ alone is our righteousness, and that we are saved by grace through faith in him alone. They challenge us to examine our hearts and see if we are trusting in Christ alone or in something else for our acceptance before God.

Turning Back to Worthless Elements
In this episode of Saints and Sinners Unplugged, Pastor Ken Jones and his co-hosts Pastor David Menendez and Pastor Jose Prado discuss the book of Galatians, chapter 4, verses 8 to 20. They explore how Paul addresses the Galatian believers who were being influenced by the Judaizers to return to their former pagan practices and rituals. They also examine how Paul expresses his deep concern and compassion for the Galatians, as well as his firm commitment to the gospel of grace in Christ. They highlight the following points:
Paul contrasts the Galatians' former enslavement to idols that are not gods with their present knowledge of God and being known by God.
Paul warns the Galatians not to turn back to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, which include both the pagan observances and the Jewish ceremonies that are no longer valid in Christ.Join us next week as we continue our study of Galatians and learn more about the freedom and joy we have in Christ.
