GernaderJake Became the #1 Flawless Trials Player in the World... But Was it Worth it?

GernaderJake built a career helping Destiny players reach the Lighthouse live on stream, but this success came with what he calls “golden handcuffs.”In this episode, GernaderJake joins the show for a candid conversation about his journey from Halo videos to full-time Trials of Osiris streaming, the pressure of 14-hour broadcasts, and the decision to put life ahead of streaming after a decade of doing the opposite. We discuss why he kept his Trials carries free, how cheating and stream sniping affected his reputation, and why he believes The Final Shape should have been the end of Destiny 2. Jake also shares his hopes and concerns for Destiny’s future, his experience moving to France with his wife Kelsey, and the ongoing impact of his motorbike injury.Enjoy the conversation? The Division 2's Red Moon Unleashed Event is AMAZING... But is There Too Much Loot?

The Division 2’s Red Moon Unleashed event has us hooked, but will a near infinite amount of loot and easily farmed exotic rewards diminish the value of certain activities over time? RogueGold, Orion, and LividFray join me for another Division 2 Conversation covering the return of a Rifles META, the brand new Lichtenberg event weapon, and the balance between accessible loot and a rewarding endgame. We discuss why the Halloween event feels so good for newer players, how the Expertise event fits into the farming loop, and whether raid and incursion exotics should remain exclusive. Plus, we explore reconfiguration blueprints, ways to bring players back to older activities, and what we hope The Division 3 learns from it all. Should everyone have more ways to earn exotic weapons, or should some rewards stay tied to the toughest activities? Share your take in the comments. 00:00 - Cold Open & Introduction 04:00 - Sad News Out of BioWare Games 14:43 - Rifle buffs and the changing META 16:51 - Rogue's First Impressions of the new Lichtenberg Rifle 19:24 - Stretch goals and seasonal rewards 22:40 - Expertise event: farming materials 25:33 - Reward display bugs and creator projects 29:36 - Where should you spend SHD watch points? 32:04 - Priority objectives and overlooked rewards 34:18 - Red Moon Unleashed: a newer player’s experience 38:33 - How the Halloween event has evolved 40:29 - Should incursion exotics drop outside incursions? 44:53 - What keeps endgame activities worth replaying? 47:10 - Accessibility versus the rare-loot chase 49:43 - Refreshing loot pools and timing exclusivity 51:42 - What should stay rare? 53:28 - Reconfiguration blueprints and replayability 55:21 - What The Division could learn from Destiny 58:48 - DLC exotics and the remaining rare drops 1:00:04 - Could prototype upgrades revive older content? 1:04:02 - Closing Thoughts #TheDivision2 #Division2 #RedMoonUnleashed
