Daisy Hoe on positive mindset, her disability being her strength, Young Enterprise and founding Go Able

Daisy Hoe is an entrepreneur who is value led and creating something that will help others.  Go Able is her idea to help wheelchair users find out whether buildings and places are accessible.   In this interview we talk about some of her life journey with a real focus on the power of who you surround yourself with, what it is like to grow up with a disability in a small town and the impact that Young Enterprise and her teachers had on her to start a new venture while in high school.   We also discuss the impact that a word of encouragement can have on a life journey - who might you impact with a kind word or insight? If you want to listen to more she will be sharing at the Seeds Impact Conference next Sunday.  You can register for that for free here Seeds Impact Conference 2026 or if you listen to this after, find the episode as will record it.   RNZ interview with Daisy Teen develops app to help navigate accessibility roadblocks | RNZ  Young Enterprise website Young Enterprise: Home The Circle: Careers with Impact book mentioned: https://theseeds.nz/articles/the-circle-careers-with-impact/   Kerri Bonner interview on disabilities, worth listening in to Kerri Bonner on changing perceptions of "Disability" - Seeds Michelle Sharp interview mentioned on show https://theseeds.nz/podcast/michelle-sharp-on-kilmarnock-and-social-enterprises/  Dorenda Britten interview mentioned on show https://theseeds.nz/podcast/dorenda-britten-on-design-and-critical-thinking/  More content is at www.theseeds.nz
