5 Powerful Quotes from this Episode

[25:12] "The reason why I can say that I used to be a very arrogant and intellectually minded young lady is because I'm none of these things anymore in so many ways. And it takes a path of humility and a lot of humbling to realize that God truly is the answer to all of your needs. And it's completely outside of yourself, freeing and very humbling."
[43:05] "And I came to the realization that the only way I can know whether God is trustworthy is to give him a chance of trusting."
[51:13] "So at the same time that I'm discovering scripture for myself, I'm discovering a desire, a hunger, a passion, to tell others about that. Because the last thing I want is to be mediocre in my faith in the sense of, I want to know and experience as much of God as I can in this lifetime. And I want that for you, too."
[53:04] "When God takes hold of you, and He gives you his vision for what He wants for you, and you are bold enough, and brave enough, and adventurous enough to embrace it, to actually believe Him and follow Him where he's taking you, it completely redefines success for you. It's not the path you were planning on going down, but it's so much better."
[58:09] "What culture does is that when you step into a different culture, if it's a different language, if it's a different dress code, if it's different traditional roles for men and women, whatever it is, you find yourself by necessity questioning your own upbringing in your own culture. Because the people are doing things so differently than you are that they can't possibly be completely right or completely wrong. So it's not a matter of right and wrong."

5 Powerful Quotes from This Episode[15:53] “We've got to be more civil to one another. Because when we are most civil with one another, that's when we can make the most progress for everybody.”
[16:05] “I think prosperity cures most of what ails us, and if you're anti-prosperity, that's a problem. I think entrepreneurialism has raised the standard of living for more people than any bureaucrat or politician has ever done, barring maybe a few world wars, and we've saved some people.”
[50:46] “I very much did feel like this is economic warfare, and we were on the front lines, and it's chaotic and hectic.”
[57:53] “In times of crisis, I think it really brings out people's true character. For good, and for bad. Fortunately in my case, I’ve had great character people.”
[1:04:38] “This is all about stabilizing the economy, because if you don't stabilize the economy, eventually people end up on the streets with pickets and torches, and that's, we don't want that. You know, that's, that's what we're trying to prevent.”

Restoring Nations Through Reconstructing Work in Ministry with Mark Appleyard

Restoring Nations Through Reconstructing Work in Ministry with Mark Appleyard

With all the versions of truth around us, it’s easy to fall into the pit of deception. We often forget that Jesus is the only and absolute truth. When it comes to ministry, there are many deceptions and misalignments that can lead us astray from God’s love. But we have to remember that everything we do aligns with seeking God’s Kingdom. We have to operate from this perspective to build a ministry with the Father’s love at its core.
In this episode, we talk to Mark Appleyard, a pastor and mentor. Mark firmly believes that as people of God, we must restore nations to the fullness of His image. He shares how he relentlessly seeks to revolutionize ministry to spread God's love. Mark also successfully created Anothen, a micro church that has changed over 15,000 lives.
Listen to this episode if you want to learn how to incorporate ministry and God’s truth into your life.

Such life and wisdom here!

I am absolutely impressed and inspired. This podcast offers such a strong wisdom (yet a voice with such grace) that is reflected through Tims words and experiences. I specifically listened to and enjoyed his “almost final thoughts” episode where Tim talks about integrity. I totally agree as I don’t think the world has enough of it (but it should be aspired). Also Tim’s ability to support those working in leadership or those building that platform! This is a “must have” in your daily podcast listening files!
