How to Keep Moving When Life Hurts

People often think God’s comfort means escape from pain, instant relief, or permission to stay stuck in survival mode. But what if the comfort of the Holy Spirit was meant to do something deeper? In this episode of SHE Grows, we talk about the difference between healing and hiding, grieving and drifting, and how God’s comfort strengthens us to keep moving forward even in difficult seasons. Whether you’re walking through loss, disappointment, burnout, uncertainty, heartbreak, or a major life transition, this conversation will encourage you to recognize the presence of God not just as a place of safety — but as a source of strength. We discuss: what biblical comfort really meansthe difference between processing pain and partnering with defeathow to know when you’re driftingwhy the Holy Spirit comforts uswhat healthy movement looks like after hardshiphow God gives us strength to rise againYou may be hurting, but you are not without hope. And you were never meant to simply float through life defeated by the current. Partner with SHE! Help us continue to spread the message the Lord has for women. Why Do People Like Jesus But Hate Christians?

What are Christians known for… and why doesn’t it always sound like Jesus? In this episode of the SHE Grows podcast, we dive into the tension between holding firm biblical convictions and reflecting the heart of Christ in the way we engage with the world around us. In a culture increasingly at odds with a biblical worldview, many believers feel the pressure to either stay silent or become combative. But Jesus modeled another way. We talk about why Christians are often perceived as judgmental while Jesus is remembered for compassion, kindness, and mercy, and what it looks like to close that gap in our own lives. Through Scripture, honest conversation, and practical application, we explore how to stand for truth without losing love, how to respond in the Spirit instead of reacting in the flesh, and how to have difficult conversations that point people toward Jesus instead of pushing them away. This conversation is not about compromising truth. It’s about representing Christ well. If you’ve ever struggled with how to navigate hard cultural conversations, speak truth with compassion, or love people without affirming sin, this episode will challenge and encourage you to look more like Jesus in both conviction and character. SHE Roars | April Gathering

Every other month, we gather in person! It is amazing what God will do when his daughters gather together to worship and seek him. Here is the message from Danielle Doss, one of our lead team pastors, from our gathering!  This powerful message calls women to remember who God truly is so they can confidently understand who they are in Him. Through Revelation and the story of Moses, the teaching reveals three defining truths about God: He is holy and set apart, He is the ultimate authority, and He is ever-present. When we recognize His holiness, we recalibrate our lives around His truth instead of culture. When we understand His authority, we stop disqualifying ourselves and begin walking boldly in the calling He has placed on our lives. And when we embrace that He is “I AM,” we find courage knowing we never walk alone. This message is a bold reminder that God’s daughters are not called to live timid, defeated lives, but to rise with confidence, carry His name, and walk in the victory, purpose, and spiritual authority already secured through Jesus.
