28. From anxiety to depression

I'm glad I listen to this pod cast I can relate with certain things but not to the same level of experience as yall, it's advice for me for the the long run to becareful of what you can run into if your not paying attention to how you feel and why, then being able to heal your self by being true to yourself. Our feeling teach us about who we are no shame. Like y'all had said about crying I say it to my boy friend let it out. Can you teach us about prioritizing like how do you prioritize.
What I learned from you is that it takes consistency to see results.

Inspiring and uplifting

I have suffered with depression in the past and it has taken so much out of me, mentally and physically. I couldn’t eat for two years. Everything I tried to eat, I would throw up. It got to the point where I started throwing up blood, even when I wasn’t eating. That was when I knew I needed help. My mom handed me the house phone, as I sat at the dining room table crying, and told me I needed to contact my insurance to find a therapist and make an appointment as soon as possible. She got me on such a great path by just listening to my story and helping me without medication , that I was able to continue my journey on my own. I have been on this wonderful path for 5 years now, but I am human. I do have days where I feel myself slipping and I tell myself that’s okay because I pull myself right back out of it. I learned how to deal with it in a healthy way. I found outlets for certain things and one of which is the gym. There are situations where i struggle with because I don’t know how to deal with it but I still manage to find a way, and I ask God for his guidance. After hearing some of these podcasts (while I continue to listen to the rest), I know that we are all in this together. I follow Jasyra on IG and have followed her since before these podcasts. She has always been an inspiration to me since I started following her and even more so now, since I am hearing these stories. Thank you Jasyra for posting these and for putting yourself out there. For making yourself so vulnerable for others to see. This is real. This is raw. And this is what your followers and people who are struggling with mental health need to hear

She really hustles!

I’ve known Jasyra for over 12 years. I’ve seen her at high and low moments. This girl is an inspiration to women around the world. THE WORLD!

She’s a fighter and when she sets her mind to something, she gets it! I see this podcast as her way to collaborate with other women. I also see it as a way to keep it real with her tribe and leave everyone empowered.

This woman is a rockstar and every episode just gets better and better! I’m so excited to see what she does next and you should be excited too!
