Are you longing to simplify things just a little, amidst the crazy, loud, distracting clutter of life? That's where I was just 5 years ago, when my family started on this crazy ride toward simplifying things. Since "simple" is almost never synonymous with "easy," I was pretty much a failure at everything I tried. But along the way I learned that it's not only okay, but actually GOOD that simple joys require hard work. So I'm here to be your Encouragement Mentor in this sometimes difficult effort to simplify. Because we can do this, guys. Together.

Enjoy this so much!

Follow her instagram and this podcast and I’m so thankful for all I’ve learned. She’s someone who’s experiences are very relatable and helpful. I’ve changed the fats I use, bought a grain mill and I’m so excited for what’s next!

Great content, and a true blessing

This show has been a blessing. I loved the current season so much as I have been focusing on my personal health this year. It’s so good that I went back to the beginning and have been listening through! Almost finished with season 2 and it is just what I needed as I consider moving forward as content creator.

Deep Smarts ,

So relatable.

Listening to the Simple Doesn’t Mean Easy Podcast feels like I’m and having tea with a friend. I love how Michelle is so relatable and down to earth. So much of simple living seems so complicated; growing you own food, preparing food from scratch, making bread, fermenting foods. All these things maybe basic but without any of those skills getting from here, a classic 80’s kid raised by Mama Celeste, to being self-confident milling grains and making my own pizza crust, feels daunting.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom with incredible clarity and humility. Step one, swap white sugar with maple syrup. CHECK. Step two, grab some organic tea. CHECK. Step three, now make yourself some popcorn and don’t stress about it. Working on it.

Seriously, this podcast made me addicted to syrup. I am now walking my woods looking for maples. And I think I found some…

Thank you for such a fantastic podcast!
