Eric has been a sound mixer for more than 65 years. He originally got started in music studios in New York and eventually moved on to movie sound. He most recently ran Professional Sound Services in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

I’m a storyteller and I so happen to use the moving image to tell my stories. For me, the spectacular aspect of cinema is the intentional image and its potential to further the depth and meaning of the story. My artistic foundation in video art continues to inspire my development of radical narratives that challenge the contemporary viewer.

I currently teach at the University of Missouri in the Digital Storytelling and Film Studies Production Departments within the School of Visual Studies.

Visual effects, compositing, glitchy motion design, with a dash of cinematography are the ingredients of Forge Company, the moniker of full-time freelancer Joe Boccia. Primarily focusing on aspects of post production Joe likes to shoot, cut, grade and animate. Usually locked up at his after effects workstation Joe is happiest adding visual effects in commercials, music videos, short films and other endeavors.
