When we go to the hospital with a curable ailment, we expect to get better and go home. Sometimes though, the cure becomes the disease.

From Mount Robson in British Columbia to Crane Mountain in Oregon and The Devil’s Bedstead in Idaho, there are very few places in the northwest where you can’t see a mountain or two peeking at you from above the trees. People love to take on an adventure in the mountains whether it be climbing up the face or skiing to the slopes. Sometimes though, the mountain can swallow you whole.

Two of the best Podcasts!
This is Monsters and Somewhere Sinister are two of my favorite podcasts. The best part is that you get the entire story in short succinct episodes (including the pithy remarks thrown in here and there). This format is perfect when I don’t have the time to invest in a long, drawn out, two hour tale of horror. As I typed that, I realized I just spent the last 4+ hours listening to all 14 episodes of SS…
Interesting topics, awful newscaster voice
Why are you doing that voice?!! I doubt that’s what you sound like all the time. You should be talking to us the same way you talk to your friends. That put-on fake voice is so distracting that it’s difficult to ignore and just listen to the story you’re telling. There’s no need to do that, just be yourself!
