Over the years friends, family, colleagues, and sometimes complete strangers have shared personal stories with me of encounters with departed loved ones or with unknown entities that couldn't be explained away. These stories have always intrigued me both personally as a person of faith and professionally as a researcher.     The Knowing

    In this episode of Spirited Conversations we meet Claudia, a medium who shares her first encounter with a psychic and spiritual path from childhood through the death of her Mother and Father. She talks about Lily Dale, NY, a 160-acre Spiritualist community founded in 1879 and home to 52 registered mediums. She explains the "clair" (or intuitive) senses, 6 out of 8 of which she possesses.
