Incredibly Motivating.

As a full-time and self-employed carpenter my job is as physical as it is mental. I’m also an outdoors guild for a kayak, bike and standup paddle board outfitters.
So when I hear “get up early and put in a hard workout”... that’s a tough pill to take.
The excuses came in waves and I had to figure out a way to not accept any of them.
But: here is the payoff: I have MORE energy, my back and feet are LESS sore. And I generally have a better drive and more focus during work. Chris and his team have been a huge influence to me and I look forward every week to another great hour+ of content and motivation.

Great; but remember to focus on BOTH body AND mind/skill development

Great principles and habits. No question that the habits and mindset are key to success. If I could recommend one thing; as a former bodybuilder—I know where you’re coming from about working out to be successful and feel great; as my greatest professional successes have come from being in shape. But at the same time; I remember being in 20-30s range and working out at the level you allude to frequently becomes more difficult (both on body & responsibilities). There is a reason great professional athletes even lose a step—so focus good advice on working out the best you can (as it does have great benefits). But if you don’t develop SKILLS just as hard; reading, enhancing education, earning relevant Professional Designations (i.e. CPA, PMP, CFA, etc.) — you could find yourself “labeled” as I once did...”the bouncer” (I once owned a small personal security company). It was a wake up call when a former boss introduced me as such at a professional event. Working out is huge; and I get where you are at age wise why you talk about it so much. And NO QUESTION my training opened doors, but don’t forget the training of the mind and development of skills just as equally, because you’re not going to be truly able to walk through that door if all you have is confidence and impressive physique.
