Stop Apologising

Stop Apologising and stop waiting for permission. Hosted by Sophia Pace, this is a podcast for women who are tired of overthinking, playing small, and feeling like they need to have everything figured out before they begin. Through real, unfiltered conversations around money, confidence, relationships, career and personal growth, Stop Apologising is here to make women feel more empowered, self-aware and less alone. This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about understanding you. And yes… sorry boys, this one’s only for the girls.

Part 1: Where Do I Start? I’m in a Mess With My Finances

It’s easier to talk about sex than it is about money. And honestly, that says a lot about how much shame so many women carry around their finances. This episode kicks off a 4-part series designed to help you take control of your money without overwhelm, perfectionism or pretending you have it all figured out. Because most people don’t actually need more complicated financial advice. They need a safe place to start. If you’ve been avoiding your bank account, feel embarrassed about debt, don’t really know where your money is going, or feel completely behind financially, this series is for you. In Part 1, Sophia walks through: defining what a rich and abundant life actually means to youunderstanding your current financial positionbreaking down your debt, savings and monthly expenseswhy awareness is the first step to financial confidencehow to stop emotionally avoiding moneyThis episode is about getting honest, not judging yourself. Because you cannot change what you refuse to look at. And financial freedom starts with awareness. So grab a notebook, a coffee, and let’s start together. Why we feel stuck: The power of accepting where you are

Comparison. Pressure. Overthinking. Not too mention all the “I shoulds.” Honestly, how exhausting is it? If you feel like you aren’t where you "want to be" in life, if you feel lost, unempowered, or maybe one area of your life is quietly crumbling and you want to 'fix it' please listen to this. We’ve been told that the way out is to do more, try harder, and force a plan. But overthinking isn't going to work. Trying harder isn't going to solve the root of the problem. And forcing clarity? You already know that doesn't work either. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is the one thing you’ve been resisting: Accepting exactly where you are right now. In this episode, I’m sharing why acceptance is the only fuel that actually moves you forward and how to choose the life you want, not the one society told you to have. In this episode, we explore: The "Should" Trap: Why you keep hitting roadblocks even when you’re trying your hardest. Timeline Pressure: Navigating the shame of not being "there" yet (and why you aren't actually behind). Emotional Clues: What feelings like jealousy and doubt are actually trying to tell you about your path. The Power of Acceptance: The practical shift that happens when you stop fighting your reality and start working with it. Let this be your reminder of what’s possible when you stop apologising for your journey and start owning it. Connect with me: INSTAGRAM WEBSITE Resources Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown
