    Segment Intending: How to Stop Letting Your Day Happen to You Most people wake up and immediately hand their energy over to someone else. Phone on. Notifications in. Emails, Instagram, whatever is sitting in their inbox waiting for them. And just like that the day is already setting the tone for them instead of the other way around. Today I'm teaching you the practice that changes that completely. Segment intending is a concept I learned from Abraham Hicks and have been using for years. It is one of the simplest and most underrated tools in my entire practice. And when you do it consistently the difference in how your days feel and what actually shows up in them is undeniable. In this episode we cover what segment intending actually is and why it works, the real reason most people skip it even when they know about it, exactly how I use it in my own morning before I ever touch my phone, how to apply it before sales calls, content creation, hard conversations, and anything else that matters, and the neuroscience behind why setting an intention before a segment of your day literally changes what your brain filters for and notices. And at the end I walk you through a full guided segment intending visualization so you can actually feel it instead of just understand it intellectually. This is not a complicated practice. Because I'm done with the idea that believing in yourself before you have proof is something to apologize for. That's not toxic positivity. That's not bypassing. That is exactly how identity gets built and it's the most powerful thing a woman can do. In this episode I'm breaking down the real mechanics of identity and why affirmations alone will never get you there. We go deep on what it actually looks like to choose a belief about yourself before the evidence exists and live from it until reality has no choice but to catch up. I'm sharing three moments from my own life where I did exactly that: Getting hired for a government psychology position with two felonies on my record and then walking into a meeting with the warden of the entire King County jail system to fight for my security clearance when the jail system tried to deny me access. Alone. In my probationary period. And getting it. Leaving a six figure government job with a family to provide for, zero support from my family, and a business that wasn't fully proven yet because I had already decided who I was. Deciding I was a seven figure entrepreneur before I was one and what that actually looked like in practice. The circle I changed, the investments I made, the environment I upgraded, the stage in front of 5,000 people I almost backed out of and said yes to anyway. We also get into what living from a chosen identity actually looks like day to day because this concept means nothing if you can't apply it to your real life tomorrow morning. And at the end, I give you the honest diagnostic: how to actually tell whether you're living from your chosen identity or whether you're still being run by the old one.
