From one solar business owner to another, thank you Jamie for keeping it honest and informative. I’ve been tuning into this podcast for a couple years now and would recommend it to anyone considering solar for the first time or adding to an existing system. Jamie does a fantastic job of keeping the dialogue in a format that is understandable to those that are not part of the industry or already solar experts. For these guys to maintain a new podcast every week, a lot of time and energy is invested into educating the public. Many people in a business like push that business. Listening to your podcast it feels like your presenting a list of issues that should be addressed. Due to all the mindless ( sorry “ well intended”) rules put in place by government bodies and power companies ( not mindless just greedy) it’s a tough road to suss out. I love how California is making everything electric and yet making electricity more difficult.

I have been thinking about Solar for a while but it wasn’t till I came across this podcast that I feel I’m more informed. Jamie Duran is a great expert on Solar.

It does have up-to-date information, especially regarding California. However, they bring their political pessimism into most episodes. There is a LOT OF “well, I guess the government doesn’t want people in California anymore” stuff here. “Maybe they’re trying to chase people out.” I’m not listening for amateur hour political theories (especially when they veer from policy to conspiracy theories), but expert level solar panel info. If they would focus, it would be much less frustrating.
