An ex-Christian (Lauren O’Neal) and a nonbelieving sort-of Jew (Niko Bakulich) read the entire Bible, cover to cover, so you don’t have to. If you’ve ever been curious about what’s actually in the bestselling book in history but never found the time to read it, we’ve got you covered. Sunday School Dropouts is kind of like Mystery Science Theater 3000 for the Bible, or like listening to a recap of your favorite show, if your favorite show was about polygamous shepherds on very strict diets. The weird, the wacky, the wonderful—we’ll clue you in on everything they didn’t teach you in Sunday school.

Finally get to post a review!

I had my review in the Peruvian iTunes Store, but now that I’ve switched I can finally rate and review my favorite podcast!

I never really listen to podcasts because I usually prefer to listen to music, but this podcast has changed my life! Love Lauren and Niko, love learning without actually having to do much. I listen to it on my walks to and from work and laugh alone like a crazy person! It’s the best!

I then arrive at work to have interesting conversations with my evangelical office manager, who does her best to explain all the contradictions in the Bible! Happy to have something to relate with her now.

Fun to listen

If you're looking for a discourse on the Bible and a full understanding of it it's not very good but nobody is selling that.

I give them 13/13 angry writers who need to stop adding misogynstic content to the bible.

Not a reliable source of info

What you would expect from an ex Sunday School teacher... uneducated, biased, out of context, and riddled with ethnocentric opinion. I wish I liked it more, but it’s just kind of ridiculous to listen to.
