Each episode of the HeadStuff original podcast Talking Ted is an exploration of the series with a glimpse behind the scenes as contributors from the show share their memories, stories and insights into what made Father Ted the iconic sitcom it has become. Special guests include Ardal O'Hanlon, Pat Shortt, Jon Kenny, Arthur Matthews, and the actors who played many of the loveable characters such as Sister Asumpta, Mary from John and Mary, Fr. In the final episode of the first season of Talking Ted, Joe and Patrick are joined by Ardal O’Hanlon to share memories of Frank Kelly, who played Father Jack. Joe, Patrick, and Ardal discuss working with Frank, who was an acting hero to each of them, and how Frank could not have been more different to his character. The episode also features a 2015 interview with Frank from Joe’s podcast Podarooney, where Frank discusses becoming Father Jack.

A Big Thumbs Up from an American Ted Fan!
Love the show! Well-paced banter with genuinely interesting anecdotes, and good takes about one of the best shows ever made, makes this podcast just a delight. Not being Irish nor Catholic, and only getting into the show until a couple of years ago, there’s a lot of cultural and period references that I never noticed. This podcast helps fill in some blanks, contextualizes the humor of the show, and just makes me love Father Ted even more.

What took so Long
I wish they thought of this years ago. I was very exicted to listen to this podcast, but found it a little disappointing, I'm hoping it gets better, anyything Father Ted is good.. Looks like they follow each show as it appeared during the seasons. I wish they had more about Bishop Brennan, they have one guest per episode, I guess they couldnt get Jim Norton for the show.
