I lived in NZ before there was an effort to revive te reo. I always wanted to learn. Listening now from the states and dreaming of returning to my whanua a little more literate. Thank you so much for this podcast.

I learned a little Maori when I was younger and many of the words are familiar from waiata. I live in the States now and have little exposure now. I have a craving to learn and understand. I’ve only listened to a few episodes and plan to just listen to the episodes over and over so this will stick in my old brain. But it just makes me so happy. Thank you for all the work that went into making this. I love the conversational nature, the waiata, all of it is just so well produced. Please keep making more episodes!!
