Get out of my head
…or get back into it? This podcast feels like it sprang from my strange subconscious like Athena but from the 90s. As a certified theatre kid whose personality gateway drugs included The Muppet Show, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Drop Dead Fred, I feel right at home. Paul, your voice is somehow familiar as an old friend and Ericka, your laugh is delightful and reminds me of comedy icon Phyllis Diller. Please know you have made this neuro-spicy middle aged queer woman in rural Oklahoma so very happy and I thank you. I feel seen by a podcast in a way I never imagined and that’s eerily intimate. Keep it up - I adore you. 💜
PS… speaking of Phyllis Diller, I highly recommend the 1967 cult treasure, Mad Monster Party. It would be a fun one for spooky season. XO

I haven’t laughed this hard in my car ever! This funny and informative show about Pop Culture hits and misses is amazing. Such a pick me up! I highly recommend the episode on Casper, had me in tears!!

Seconding and manifesting an episode on the animated Robin Hood! Hot Fox Robin Hood shaped a generation, and I cannot wait for Erica to witness it for the first time!
