    127. A Festive Hit for 2020

KaitaP ,

a pleasant surprise!

was pleasantly surprised to find a linguistic podcast that also focuses on the semiotics and social implications of language, instead of upholding it as a strict system of “rules” that can never change. love it! the guests are always a delight, too.

Excellent podcast

I’ve listened for years, but only now reviewing. Helen is witty, charming and smart... but never smug. The show is always interesting and often gives me something new to think about.

Word nerds rejoice!

Finally a podcast for writers, readers, and fans of language! These short episodes are always packed full of thoughtful word history and etymology. Always happy to see it on my feed.
