Back in the day, Salem Village was awash in bad vibes. What started as a few stressed out colonial tweens messing around became a conspiracy of religious paranoia with townsfolk turning on each other quicker than Kendrick and Drake. Months of false testimony and baseless accusations in packed courtrooms resulted in death, ruin, and one of the most embarrassing judicial failures of all time.

The co-hosts of, And That's Why We Drink, Em Schulz and Christine Schiefer, join Misha to hex the patriarchy and point the finger at The Salem Witch Trials.

How O.J. Simpson's Memoir Ended Up in Book Jail with Boze and Carl Tart

How O.J. Simpson's Memoir Ended Up in Book Jail with Boze and Carl Tart

You know the Bronco chase, the trial and the glove, but do you know …the book? In 2006, O.J. Simpson teamed up with prominent publisher, Judith Regan, to make a killing from his controversial life story. With the help of a ghostwriter, they created a “hypothetical” tell-all book about the actual murders O.J. stood trial for. Thousands of copies were printed and a companion TV special was filmed. But, when news of the unsavory book surfaced, there was an uproar, leading to the cancellation of the project and a grizzly amount of lawsuits. However the story takes a surprising turn when the family of one of the victims earns the right to release the book themselves.

Ericka Bozeman aka Boze (Boze vs the World) and Carl Tart (Comedy Bang! Bang! Grand Crew) join Misha to unpack the story of OJ's book, "If I Did It."

Watergate: Deep Throat, Deeper Trouble with Langston Kerman and Gareth Reynolds

Watergate: Deep Throat, Deeper Trouble with Langston Kerman and Gareth Reynolds

In 1972, five clumsy burglars broke into the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate Hotel. They were armed with tear gas pens, wads of cash, and enough surveillance equipment to make the NSA blush - and they were immediately caught. What could’ve been written off as the dumbest burglary in history swiftly unraveled through leaks from gossip queen Martha “Mouth of the South” Mitchell and an investigation by reporters Woodward and Bernstein. Suddenly it became clear that the bonkers attempt to cover up the crime went all the way to the top - and President Richard Nixon was going to pay for it.

Langston Kerman (Bust Down, The Boys) and Gareth Reynolds (The Dollop, We're Here to Help) put on their bellbottoms and join Misha to untangle the web of lies, the paranoia, and the "Deep Throat” of it all.

Segway: Ridin' Nerdy with Adam Rose

Segway: Ridin' Nerdy with Adam Rose

Before it became the butt of countless jokes and the preferred transportation for mall cops, the Segway had grand ambitions. Its inventor, Dean Kamen, believed his self-balancing, two-wheeled electric scooter would change the way we get around, and ultimately eliminate the need for cars all together. But when the rubber met the road and consumers met Segway’s slow speed, short battery life, and general uselessness, sales fell off a cliff... and so did the CEO of the company while driving one.

Adam Rose (Merry Happy Whatever, L.A.’s Finest) joins Misha to chat about Segway’s crash and burn.

New Coke Goes Flat with Preacher Lawson and Paul F. Tompkins

New Coke Goes Flat with Preacher Lawson and Paul F. Tompkins

In the early 90’s, an earth shattering event occurred that would change the face of American culture forever: Coca-Cola changed their recipe. New Coke was supposed to be sweeter to combat the rising popularity of Pepsi, but the customer reaction was decidedly sour. Lawsuits and public outrage contributed to the PR Nightmare - somehow hiring Bill Cosby as their spokesperson wasn’t the worst business decision Coca-Cola made that year!

Preacher Lawson (My Name Is Preacher, America’s Got Talent) and Paul F. Tompkins (BoJack Horseman, The Great North) join Misha to savor the sweet, sweet Flop that is New Coke.

Love revisiting history flops

Well researched and executed retelling of society failures

Mixed feelings

The stories are interesting and well presented but the host and guests are sometimes hard to listen to. Trying too hard to make jokes that just aren’t funny. Misha’s voice is so forced-it’s distracting.

Great work

Too many pods become laugh-fests among the hosts. You guys are informative and funny while keeping the humor in check and moving the story forward.
