The Lock-In - Matt Berkey
This week, Matt Berkey is locked in and dishing out some excellent advice and thoughtful takes on the hot topics in poker.
Joining our hosts Dara and David, Matt weighs in on the bizarre decision by WSOP to hold an online/live hybrid Main Event in December, despite the raging pandemic. The conversation then switches to the recent squabble between Polk and Dnegs over manually note-taking during their heads-up match and Bill Perkins tweets on the subject. After that, there is a broad discussion on competition in poker against the backdrop of betting company mergers.
David asks Matt about his role in helping Landon Tice win the MSPT Main Event which morphs into a broader chat on mindset coaching which in turn morphs into a chat on coaching in general. Dara gives his insights on a GTO Vs Exploit approach to the game. The conversation finishes off with a call-back to the previous show when the lads analysed the polling data and betting markets ahead of the US election. This time, they look at the strange anomaly of people still betting on Trump despite the election being called in Biden's favour.
⚠️ We apologise for the intermittent sound quality issues in the first half of this interview.

The conversation then moves to the hot topic of RTAs, a subject in which Dominik has particular interest as they segue to an exclusive about the latest features on the DTO app. There's just enough time to have a chuckle about the Phil Galfond inspired series of tweets on the greatness of Phil Hellmuth.
Oh, and there's a shameless plug for the upcoming Unibet Open Online, which Dara and David promise will be the best value €1K tourney of 2020.
The Lock-In - Tom Hall
This week, Tom 'Jabracada' Hall is locked in and dishing out some strong opinions on RTAs and the ongoing Mike Postle saga. The lads also discuss Charlie's Godwin's extraordinary parlay, bankroll management and the prospect of an Autumn of Overlay, before things are brought to a sudden end because David fears that Tom is moving in on his and Dara's turf as a Unibet Ambassador.

My favorite poker podcast
World poker news and interviews from two of the most thoughtful minds in poker (and Ian Simpson). I came for the Dara O'Kearney but stayed for the David Lappin. Host Lappin moves things along at a brisk pace, dipping into strat and controversies with O'Kearney and others. When new episodes drop, this moves to the head of the list.
This podcast has an absolutely brilliant set of hosts, and their guests are top notch. Easily the best poker podcast out there.
