One of my favorite podcasts

I listen to a lot of podcasts on a lot of different subjects, and this is one of my favorite podcasts of all time. I can say with certainty that I am a better poker player because of their strategy segments. But what really puts them over the top is their dedication to exploring the lives of poker players (rec, pro, and all those in between), who come from many different walks of life. After so many episodes this podcast has moved beyond interesting to me and become...comforting.

Also. the rigor they bring to their study of poker, the incredibly long dissections of a single hand, has encouraged me to do the same. In so doing (even as a lowly $1-2 rec player), I think they’ve helped me digest a valuable lesson - that when you approach any endeavor with rigor and sincerity, you always learn things that extend far beyond the subject at hand.

Also of course, Carlos is just literally the best. Any episode with Carlos puts me in a good mood.
