But it is almost time for spring sports, so tonight on The Corner Blitz we sat down with Bogue Chitto softball coach Austin Hood and three of his Lady Bobcats — seniors Abigail Holder and Kylee Reynolds, and junior Joy Leggett. We get the inside dope on BC softball and why they, and their coach, expect big improvement and a shot at the postseason in 2026. Head coach Lana Milton tells us how stomping on game nights almost costs her a pair of heels every week, while Lady Rebs Caitlin Case, Lacie Clark, Sydni Wolley, Addison Walsh, and Annalynee Gill tell us about their team and how they play the game.     A North Pike Man — new Jaguars football coach Wes McCullough and assistant coach Jason Cooksey, live at the Fit Life Sports Plex

    North Pike's new man, is their old man. Wes McCullough has been teaching and coaching at North Pike for 24 years, and now he's been named the head coach of the football team. He stopped by the Fit Life Sports Plex with assistant coach Jason Cooksey to talk about North Pike's football culture, the past, the future, and what it takes to get a team ready to compete in MHSAA 5A South. Benji, Bradley and Adam also talk about MAIS reclassification, crootin' in the MAIS (and everywhere else), and the further decline of college athletics by turning everyone into professional athletes.     We Are Ole Brook — on the final episode of The Corner Blitz for 2025, the Brookhaven Panthers football team, who shocked Mississippi with a 31-19 win over West Point in the MHSAA 5A state title game. Head coach Darien Dorsey makes his third appearance on the show, and with him are a busload of playmakers: Jaden Allen, Jeremy Bibbs, Dreamus Harron, Corderro McDaniel, Caiden Quarles, Hampton Smith and Phillip Tobias. The fellas talk about their season, their individual big plays in the championship game, the everlasting beauty of GT counter, listening to country music and more.
