    In this episode, Caroline and featured guest Mr. Kenneth Masseti, Caroline's AP United States Government and Politics teacher, have a conversation about the American democratic process and the importance of the "youth vote" in the 21st century, particularly regarding newly-turned 18-year-olds and the importance of their political participation and voter registration.     Hi everyone! This is a short episode in which I  wanted to update you all on the current progress with season 2, why I took a break from the podcast, my plans for the rest of the year, etc. I also wanted to take time to formerly thank everyone who has shown me an outpouring of support this year - friends, teachers, community members, etc - it's meant the world to me! My plan is to upload at least once a month of interview-style episodes, as well as more frequent uploads of solo, casual episodes where I share my thoughts on a current issue in a "coffee and chat" style discussion.     S1 EP15: Season Finale!! 2020 Year-End Reflections: Positive Socio-Political Change + Hopes For 2021

    In this episode, Caroline and featured guest Nicolette Polena (who was also the featured guest on the pilot episode) reflect on 2020 and all of the personal and global change that came along with the past twelve months. Caroline and Nicolette analyze several positively impactful historical and political events that occurred this year (such as the Biden/Harris win, the BLM movement and George Floyd Protests, and the SCOTUS ruling to protect LGBTQ+ rights in the workforce),  give their thoughts on how to remain cultured, informed + engaged in 2021, and also discuss their hopes for the future of socio-political change in the new year.
