    ep 41: Aphantasia and Hypnosis: Healing Without Visualizing (with Guest Haley England)

    Host Robyn Holm welcomes her client Haley to discuss aphantasia—difficulty forming mental images—and how it affects hypnosis, reading, learning, sports, and healing. Both share that they don’t visualize or “hear” inner soundtracks, but access imagination through words, felt sense, movement, and clear knowing. They explain how hypnosis can still work through somatic cues, narration, and alternative entry points, and Robyn outlines direct suggestion versus regression using a “dandelion root” analogy. Robyn describes the three requirements for hypnosis—focus, trust, and emotion—and the value of an outside observer.     Ep 39 Athletes, High Performers and Hypnosis: Future Pacing, Self-Hypnosis, and Celebrating Wins with Certified Hypnotist Christina Honkonen

    Christina Honkonen is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and mental performance coach who helps athletes, young performers, and high achievers develop the mindset needed to perform at their highest level. Certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists, she works with youth and elite athletes through her Mental Performance Training Program, helping them strengthen focus, build confidence, overcome performance blocks, and access the mental “zone” where peak performance happens. With nearly two decades of professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Christina combines evidence-based hypnosis with mindset training and NLP techniques to help clients create lasting change. In addition to sports performance, she works with professionals and high performers to improve public speaking confidence, break unwanted habits, and reduce stress that interferes with performance. Her work is rooted in both science and personal experience, inspired by her journey as a parent when hypnosis was recommended to support her son following an ADD diagnosis—an experience that revealed the powerful role the subconscious mind plays in shaping performance, behavior, and personal growth.     ep 37: From Burnout to Thriving: Sheila De Young on Conscious Ketamine Coaching and deep Hypnotherapy to heal from burnout

    Host Robyn Holm welcomes guest Sheila DeYoung, a hypnotherapist and Conscious Katamine Coach who helps high-performing, internally exhausted clients who feel unfulfilled despite outward success. Sheila shares her background of childhood trauma, a 34-year corporate management career, and a major burnout in her early 50s that led her to prioritize unconscious and soul-level work through modalities like hypnotherapy, Reiki, NLP, and mental and emotional release. Identifying as an empath, she discusses how absorbing others’ emotions affected her leadership roles and explains her current protection and clearing practices, including prayers, visualization, crystals, bells, sage/Palo Santo, water, and a ritual for “leaving” and “releasing” energy.     Ep 35: 70-Pound Weight-Loss Journey using Hypnosis and GLP-1 Support

    Robyn interviews longtime friend Melissa about her lifelong struggle with body image, bullying starting in early elementary school, and cultural pressures around weight. Melissa is a Director in Learning & Development who has spent her career helping others grow, but her most profound transformation has been her own. A lifelong wellness advocate and former Zumba instructor of ten years, she is currently completing her PN1 Nutrition and Wellness Coaching certification to bridge the gap between body and mind. She lives with her husband and their two Frenchies, and when she’s not cracking the code on wellness using tools like hypnotherapy, you can find her solving her way out of an escape room.
