I followed in my mom’s footsteps and became a nurse because I loved watching her helping people and I wanted to do the same. 3 years into my career I realized I’m aiding our broken system and hurting far more people than I’m helping. Realizing this was disheartening and left me feeling lost and so sad. I’m in the middle of figuring out how to shift my career into something holistic that works against our system in ways that truly help people live healthy lives, and Shawn’s content has given me so much to think about!
