Unfinished but Unfolding: Release the Year - Renew the Mind

Send us a text “You didn’t finish everything — but everything you finished matters.” This isn’t just another end of year reflection. This is a release. In this episode, we’re letting go of the guilt, the unmet expectations, the heavy stories you carried longer than you should have, and the pressure to be perfect. This episode walks you through the emotional, spiritual, and mental reset you needed long before the year tried to shut its door. Today, we will pause, reflect, breathe again and learn why God cares more about the direction we’re going more than our deadlines. Even if you didn’t finish everything — this episode reminds you that you’re not behind… you’re becoming. We will laugh a little and discuss some honest heart work to help us explore what it looks like to end the year with clarity instead of shame, renewal instead of regret and courage instead of comparison. You are not unfinished — you are unfolding. Here’s what you’ll walk away with: Honest end of year reflectionsRenewal doesn’t mean perfectionWhat Romans 12:2 really means for your mindsetLetting go and making room for nextA renewed mind for tomorrow and the NewYear! Before the calendar resets,  let your mind reset. What Does Success Look Like To You?

Send us a text Success looks different for everyone. It don’t come wrapped one way. What success looks like for one person might not be what it looks like for you. See, we all might end up at the same destination, but the roads we take? They’re not the same. Some of us had to crawl. Some had to climb. Some had to fight our way through seasons we didn’t even see coming and for others they glide in unscathed. My point is - so stop trying to copy somebody else’s picture — you don’t know the pain, the process, or the price they paid to get there. In this week’s solo episode, we’re asking what does success look like to you? I learned a long time ago - never to wish for what others have, because I don’t know what they had to survive to get it.  So today, I’m asking you — what does success look like to YOU? Not your neighbor. Not your coworker. Not the person on social media. You. In this episode, I’m dropping questions to make you think, reminders to keep you grounded, and the motivation to keep building — even when the journey gets heavy. Don’t let obstacles make you forget what you’re built for. Because the version of success that’s got your name on it — it’s already written. You just gotta keep walking the path. "Grief Is Not Meant to Be Healed, Grief Is Meant to Be Held” — Ft: Lanise Shortell

Send us a text Welcome back to the guest chair Lanise Shortell — a pediatric and perinatal hospice nurse with over 20 years of experience walking families through their most tender moments. She is a global grief advocate who trains physician fellows at Emory University and abroad on the emotional landscapes of pediatric end-of-life care.  Most recently, Lanise became became the Co-Owner of Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care of Georgia - offering comforting care for families during every step of their journey. Lanise became a student of grief at just 4 years old, after a tragic accident shattered her sense of safety and family overnight. That rupture became a lifelong teacher — one that now informs the way she serves families facing unthinkable loss. This episode is for anyone navigating the quiet ache of loss, or sitting beside someone who is.  In this episode, we discussed: The moment Lanise’s life drastically changed by unimaginable loss. What it means to honor grief without trying to fix it.How grief can shape — and sometimes become — our life’s work. What pediatric hospice work teaches about presence, not performance. Her work globally and nationally training. What we all can do to help families grieving everyday, but especially during the holidays. This conversation is a reminder that grief doesn’t need to be rushed, silenced or solved - It simply needs to be held.  Connect + Take Action: Instagram: @laniseshortellWebsite: Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care of Georgia To Sponsor a Family Contact: Becky Loveland @ bloveland76@yahoo.com or contact Lanise Shortell🎧 Ep24  The Path To Moving Through Grief Ft Lanise Shortell Pediatric RN Let’s connect: Website: www.arlenebolden.com | FB: @thepathpodcast | IG: @thepath_podcast | thepath4ward@gmail.com Follow, share and subscribe to The Path Podcast on Apple, Spotify, Youtube & other podcast platforms.
