Iran’s Continued Destruction | The Rob Maness Show EP 655

Iran’s destruction continues. Just hours ago, the number two commander in Iran’s IRGC — their Chief of Intelligence — was terminated in a major strike. Israel is sending a very clear message: they will not tolerate Iranian aggression, and they’re not waiting around for permission. At the same time, we’re watching the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran loves to threaten the world’s oil supply. But let’s be clear — while much of the world scrambles, this isn’t really America’s problem anymore. We’re energy independent, and we don’t need to play world policeman for everyone else’s oil. In a really dumb move, France and other European nations appear to have cut their own deals to get their ships passing freely through the strait — Macron is pushing his own approach instead of helping the United States, even calling a forced operation “unrealistic.” At the same time, questions are growing louder: Is it finally time for America to withdraw from NATO and let Europe handle its own security? And in the middle of all this chaos, we’re seeing powerful reminders of what real American values look like — the principle of “no man left behind.” We're joined again by veteran TV news producer, Substack host at The Analyst, former diplomat, and current anchor for Real American Sunrise Early Edition plus The NewsHour Weekend Edition on 77 Talk Radio WABC: Jake Novak. Welcome to East California – Formerly Virginia | The Rob Maness Show EP 652

Folks, they're trying to turn the Old Dominion into East California, and the battle is raging right now. Virginia is in a hard left turn, with radical Democrats pushing aggressive gerrymandering schemes through a controversial redistricting referendum that could lock in a 10-to-1 Democrat advantage in congressional seats. Governor Abigail Spanberger—former CIA operations officer—is right in the middle of it, starring in ads and voting early to sell this power grab, even after previously saying she had no plans to redistrict. This isn't about fairness—it's about rigging the map to protect their agenda: higher taxes that crush working families, relentless attacks on our God-given Second Amendment rights, and policies that make everyday Virginians feel like strangers in their own state. While they're focused on consolidating power, real issues like affordability and security get pushed aside. Virginia helped birth this nation with principles of liberty and limited government, but today it's ground zero in the fight against one-party rule and insider games. That's why we're bringing on a true fighter who's been battling these forces for years in the trenches of the Virginia Senate. Senator Reeves was raised from humble beginnings, first on a farm and ranch in Colorado and later in Texas, where his parents built small family businesses. Every man in his family has proudly served in the military, and Bryce and his older brother Blain were the first to attend college. After graduating from Texas A&M, Bryce became an Army Ranger, later serving as a narcotics agent and becoming a small business owner. He then furthered his education at George Mason University, the University of Virginia Sorenson Institute, Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and the U.S. Army War College. Senator Reeves carried those same values of hard work, faith, and service into his political career. In 2011, he answered the call to public service, running for State Senate on a platform of lower taxes, more transparency, and putting the needs of his district first—defeating 28-year incumbent Edd Houck. His journey from a dirt-poor farm to the Virginia Senate reflects a lifelong calling to protect the least, the last, and the lost among us. This is a public episode. Drone’s Over Sensitive Military Bases | The Rob Maness Show EP 651

Last year, when residents up and down the East Coast reported mysterious drones appearing night after night, it was today’s guest John Ferguson’s expertise that helped major news outlets connect the dots. His analysis led to national reporting. But now, unidentified drones appearing over Fort McNair — the same base where Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reside — is more than a curiosity. It’s a warning sign. According to multiple reports, the drones were detected on a single night within the past ten days, and officials could not determine their origin. We’ve also seen multiple unidentified drones flying over nuclear bomber bases in Louisiana, also of unknown origin! With the U.S. already on heightened alert due to the conflict with Iran, the presence of unknown unmanned aircraft over one of the most sensitive military installations in the country raises serious questions about perimeter security and adversarial reconnaissance. Mr. Ferguson is back in the media today discussing these issues, he is a drone expert and the Founder and Chairman of Saxon Aerospace and Saxon Unmanned, a Kansas‑based manufacturer of long‑range, military‑grade unmanned aircraft and remote systems. John is also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former reconnaissance scout swimmer, went on to become a deep‑sea diver, submersible vehicle pilot, and global infrastructure specialist, working in more than 80 countries. Ferguson holds multiple pending U.S. patents and is known for designing rugged, life‑saving, cost‑saving technologies relied on by major clients worldwide including the military, energy, and agriculture sectors. The Iranian Mosaic Defense System | The Rob Maness Show EP 650

Right now, the Middle East is ablaze—U.S. and Israeli strikes hammering Iran, missiles flying, oil routes in the Strait of Hormuz under direct threat. Global energy prices spiking, China's watching closely as their supply lines get squeezed, and Iran's not folding. They're fighting back hard. You've just seen that clip—why is that guy saying what he's saying? Because Iran's game plan isn't about a knockout punch; it's about survival and wearing us down. That's their 'Mosaic Defense'—a decentralized nightmare built over decades by the IRGC. No single command center to take out. Provincial units, Basij militias, missile batteries, drone swarms—all semi-autonomous, ready to keep launching even if Tehran goes dark. It's attrition warfare: bleed the enemy economically, exhaust defenses, turn every province into a resilient tile that keeps the fight going. We’ll look at how this Mosaic actually works. Then, from the Iranian side: their own view of operating in this scattered, headless mode. And finally—can it be defeated, or is this the new reality we're facing? Joining me to break it all down is former intelligence officer Michael Pregent—deep expert on IRGC ops, Iranian proxies, and these asymmetric networks. Michael, great to have you—let's get into it. What does this decentralized mosaic really mean for American strategy in this ongoing war? This is a public episode.
