It’s like sitting at a bar with friends and hanging out. I’ve been listening for years and it’s what kept me going through the pandemic. They even stepped it up and add an extra hour to their show for a while to help their fans at the start of quarantine. They’re definitely Houston heroes to me. It’s the most interactive show on the radio and they love to hear from their fans. My favorite thing about the show is a game that they play on Thursday called Read My Lips.
The team:
Rod, AKA RubberBoy, is the cool guy leader. He’s a fast walking, ball powering, propane grilling, hardest working man on the radio. He eats breakfast every day to give it his best every show.
Alex P. Middleton, AKA the Read My Lips Hulk, is like a skater + mama’s boy + grumpy old man all in one. He adds a wise sophisticated tone to the show. The world would be a better place if we all did what he says.
Tessa, AKA Turtle, is the noob of the show. She a dork to be feared. Her energy adds a healthy amount chaos to the show.
The Chile, AKA the Guatemalan King, is the Swiss Army Knife of the team. His skills are limitless and is all knowing. The women want him and men want to be him.
The last member of the team are the fans. We love our morning show. (Mic Drop)
